Welcome to the Black Walnut Studio web site featuring the art of Nicola Hodge Parker.

Nicola’s work is influenced by the botanical style of painting used by the naturalists of the 18th and 19th centuries. Her work reflects a passion for the colors and textures found in nature. She works from her home studio in the Shenandoah Valley.

How do I order?

We have created an Acrobat order form that you can use to place an order. The easiest way to do this is to keep track of what you want to order, then fill out the form online. That way, you won't have to try to squeeze your handwriring into little blanks. Also, the form will calculate cost, taxes, and shipping for you. (The order form will open in a new window so you can go back and forth between it and the descriptions of the items. Then, you can print out the form to send with a check, or save it to email a copy to Nicola, and then pay with PayPal. Not a member of PayPal? That's OK. It's easy to join!
