Nicola’s work is influenced by the botanical style of painting used by the naturalists of the 18th and 19th centuries. Her work reflects a passion for the colors and textures found in nature. She works from her home studio in the Shenandoah Valley.

When I am inspired by a bird, a flower or a woodland scene I feel driven to capture it and share it with others.
